Gru asked his assistant called Dr. Nefario (Russell Brand) to make robotic camouflage biscuits. Gru gave these machines to three girls who assigned to Vector. And the, thanks to the help of these girls and robots, Gru regained the miniature gun.

On the way home, three girls beg Gru to come the park and he agreed but he had intended to leave them. However, sticker sellers said that in the rollercoaster there must be adults accompanied by children. Finally, Gru had much fun with these girls. Returning home, Gru presented his plan to Mr. Perkins via television. Three girls broke Gru's mind. One again, Perkins refused to loan Gru and he claimed that despite the plan was successful however, he wanted another younger thief to do this. Mr. Perkins told Vector who was his son that Gru had the Miniature Gun. Gru gave up his plan as he lacked of funds, but three girls and other Minions raised funds and the plan was still continued.

Gru was stuck between two choices, as the day of thieving Moon was also the day of performing ballet of three girls. Dr. Nefario saw that they seemed to be hindered their works thus he called Mrs Hattie to take them to the orphanage. And then Gru continued to carry out his plan.

After shrinking and luring the Moon into his pocket, he remembered show of three girls and then he rushed back to Earth. Unfortunately, the performance was finished when he arrived. On the stage, Gru found a piece of paper that Vector left for him, which said: Three girls exchange for the Moon. When Gru took the Moon for Vector, but Vector cancelled the deal and kept these girls and the Moon. Gru was so angry and he came to Vetor's house, he destroyed the defenses of this house. Vetor escaped with three girls on a flying saucer.

Gru tried to catch the bottom of the ship. When Gru couldn't stand, Dr. Nefario flew on the aircraft that Vector had shrunk before. Then the Moon was in Vector's flying saucer suddenly swells back up, grew and destroyed the ball that was containing three girls. After escaping the orb, three girls saw Gru outside, he said to them to jump towards him. Edith and Agnes jumped over Gru's ship but Margo was caught by Vector. The Moon rolled and hit Vector, and Margo fall down. Gru and other Minions rescued her. The Moon grew bigger and destroyed the controls of the flying saucer, and then the flying saucer, Vector and Moon, flied back into space.

Finally, Gru and three girls returned to live happily together. These three girls performed a special event for Gru, the song "Why do not you dance?" And everyone on the dance floor.
